State Planning Board vice-chairman, Dr G Chinna Reddy, announced that the Telangana government is planning to revive the Bhoodan Yagna Board. This decision was made during an event celebrating the 119th birth anniversary of Vedire Ramachandra Reddy, who donated 100 acres of land to the Bhoodan Yagna movement.

Chinna Reddy emphasized the importance of including the life stories of Ramachandra Reddy and other Telangana martyrs in school curricula. He also expressed concerns about the negative impact of liquor belt shops on people’s health and well-being. He urged people’s representatives to work towards removing these shops and encouraged women to protest against them if necessary.

He suggested that members of Bhoodan Sarva Seva Sangh, such as Vedire Arvind Reddy and T Krishna Goud, should consider entering politics to serve the state.
