Hyderabad: BRS MLA KP Vivekanand stated that his party will oppose the government’s decision to create HYDRA, claiming that ruling party leaders plan to take over lands beyond the outer ring road. He made these remarks during a press conference where he criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s decisions for backfiring.

The Chief Minister proposed merging the suburbs of Hyderabad into GHMC and establishing an organization called Hydra. BRS expressed their disapproval of this plan, arguing that it goes against the principles of local governance. They accused the government of plotting to engage in extensive land grabbing and corruption in the suburbs.
