Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu wants to put an end to the tradition of touching the feet of superiors as a sign of respect. He believes that only parents and God deserve such reverence, and he will reciprocate the gesture if someone touches his feet.

During a chat with the media, Naidu expressed his views on abandoning the practice. He encouraged everyone to maintain their dignity and not lower themselves by touching the feet of others. Instead, he suggested that people show respect in different ways.
