The 2024 Parliament election results have changed the perception of the BJP in South India, showing that it is not just a North Indian party. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the party has a 1,500-day plan to become the top party in Telangana.
During the Telangana BJP extended working committee meeting, Pradhan praised the party members for their hard work in securing the NDA government under PM Modi for a third term. In the recent elections, the BJP won eight seats in Telangana with a 35% vote share.
Pradhan highlighted that the 2024 Parliament election results displayed the BJP’s strength nationwide, with improved performance in the South. He also noted that the Congress failed to reach 100 seats for the third time and did not win any seats in 13 states.
Despite the NDA’s victory under Modi’s leadership, Pradhan criticized the lack of credible leadership in the INDIA bloc. The results of the elections have solidified the BJP’s position as a strong political force across India.
