The central government has announced a new express train from Secunderabad to Vasco da Gama (Goa) for travelers in Telugu states. The bi-weekly train will make it easier for passengers to reach the popular tourist destination of Goa.

Currently, there is only one weekly train with 10 coaches from Secunderabad to Guntakal, where it combines with another 10 coaches from Tirupati to head to Goa. Additionally, four coaches traveling from Kachiguda to Yalahanka four days a week are connected to the Shalimar-Goa train at Guntakal.
