    The District SP T. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, highlighted the importance of eradicating child labor and improving the lives of affected children during the 10th Operation Muskan event. He emphasized that children should be able to study and play happily, not work in laborious jobs. Operation Muskan aims to rescue and rehabilitate child laborers, with the community urged to come together in this mission.

    During the 10th coordination meeting of Operation Muskan, efforts to rescue missing children, school dropouts, and those involved in begging, child labor, human trafficking, and bonded labor were discussed. SP Srinivasa Rao described child labor as a disease that destroys childhood and potential, pointing out poverty as a significant factor that forces children into such situations.

    The meeting also focused on the need for parental responsibility in ensuring children are not pushed into labor. Public participation was encouraged in eradicating child labor, with strict measures being taken to eliminate the practice. The district aims to improve children’s lives through education and play by involving the community and implementing rigorous actions.

    Operation Muskan-10 will be launched to rescue and rehabilitate homeless children forced into begging and labor. Special teams will be formed for this initiative, with various departments and mothers playing crucial roles in the effort. The district is committed to freeing children from labor and ensuring a better future for all.
