BRS senior leader K Keshava Rao, who recently joined Congress, is expected to step down from his position as a Rajya Sabha MP. He officially became a member of Congress in a ceremony attended by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.

Reports suggest that Keshav Rao has requested a meeting with Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankar to submit his resignation letter.

There is speculation that Keshav Rao will be appointed to a significant role within the Congress party. It is anticipated that he will soon receive a high-ranking position at the national level.
