Applications for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) in Hyderabad can now be submitted online. This decision was made by CM Revanth Reddy to ensure transparency in managing the fund. A website has been created by the Centre for Good Governance for this purpose, which was launched by Revanth at the Secretariat.
This new policy comes after concerns about the misuse of CMRF funds in the past. Applicants will now have to upload their applications on the website. MLAs and MLCs will also need to upload a recommendation letter after verifying the details of those seeking CMRF assistance. The applicant’s bank account number must be provided in the application.
Once the application is uploaded, a unique code related to CMRF will be issued. The original medical bills must then be submitted to the Secretariat using this code. The online application will be sent to hospitals for verification. If all details are correct, the application will be approved, and a cheque will be prepared with the applicant’s account number printed on it to prevent any errors.
After July 15, only online applications for CMRF will be accepted. Interested applicants can submit their applications at https://cmrf.telangana.gov.in.
