    The boiler exploded at the Ultratech Cement Factory Budawada near Jaggaiahpet in the NTR district.

    District SP Rohit Raju held a monthly review meeting with district police officers in the conference hall at the SP office today. During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of being aware of three new criminal laws coming into effect on July 1st.

    SP Raju stressed the need for all police department personnel to be diligent in their duties and take disciplinary action against any negligence. He highlighted the importance of conducting investigations responsibly to ensure that criminals are punished effectively. He also called for action against those involved in transporting and consuming illegal substances.

    The SP urged for special vigilance against activities like gutka, matka, gambling, and betting, with strict enforcement of the law against offenders. He also emphasized the identification of high-risk road accident areas throughout the district and implementing measures to prevent accidents.

    Additionally, SP Raju recommended organizing awareness programs on cyber crimes in each police station area to educate the public. He also emphasized regular monitoring of known troublemakers and providing counseling to prevent criminal activities. Strict measures against public alcohol consumption were also advised.

    DSP Rahman from Kottagudem, DSP Satish Kumar from Palvancha, DCRB DSP Mallayaswamy, Inspector Srinivas, District Police Office AO Jayaraju, as well as CIs, SSILs, and other staff members participated in the meeting.
