The Mahabubnagar Wellness Center, which serves employees, elderly pensioners, and journalists, has moved to the first floor of the Old Hospital building from the Old Collectorate premises. This change has made it difficult for elderly individuals to access the center due to the stairs.

Furthermore, the center is facing challenges such as a shortage of specialist doctors, resulting in patients not receiving necessary diagnostic services like blood pressure and sugar level checks. Retired employees are particularly struggling to access essential medicines, with authorities yet to address these issues.

Patients are now requesting the authorities to relocate the wellness center to the ground floor for easier access for the elderly and pensioners. They are also calling on higher government officials to address the shortage of medical professionals to ensure the center operates smoothly.
