In Hyderabad, BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao is following Uddhav Thackeray’s lead in pursuing the defection of MLAs. He is working to stop leaders from leaving his party and to legally challenge Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. To do this, Rao plans to hire top legal experts to represent the BRS in court.

The BRS legal team is currently meeting with senior advocates in Delhi to select the best team for the defection case. The party has already filed a case against Danam Nagender in the High Court, with a hearing scheduled for July 3. If the decision is not favorable, they are prepared to take the case to the Supreme Court.

Rao is determined to disqualify defected MLAs and has allocated funds from the party budget to support the legal team. Party leaders have been given freedom to hire experienced advocates who specialize in Anti-Defection Law. They are considering approaching advocates like Devadatt Kamat, AM Singhvi, and Kapil Sibal, who have experience with similar cases.

During public meetings, the BRS chief promised to support party leaders facing legal issues with the help of the legal team. Senior advocate T Harish Rao recently visited Delhi to meet with Kavitha and may also consult with other experienced lawyers during his trip.
