Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka released a total of Rs 406 crore for the Director of Medical Education (DME) on Monday. This amount covers all the financial needs of the DME.
This funding brings great relief to senior resident doctors, teaching medical staff, nursing staff, and paramedical staff. The Deputy CM’s order ensures that these essential medical personnel serving the poor do not face mental stress.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Health Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha jointly made the decision to release this funding. Thanks to this decision, senior resident doctors, medical professionals, nurses, technicians, and paramedical staff under the DME will no longer have salary-related issues.
