South Central Railway (SCR) recently held a safety review meeting to discuss train operations and ongoing developmental work in the region. The meeting focused on ensuring safe train travel and following safety protocols. Additionally, staff involved in train operations, such as loco pilots and assistant loco pilots, were given regular counseling.
Arun Kumar Jain, the general manager of SCR, highlighted the importance of installing CCTV surveillance in major railway yards to prevent unauthorized activities and safeguard railway assets. He also checked the availability of smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in the region, instructing officials to maintain an adequate supply of fire safety equipment. Following this, senior officials joined the general manager for a detailed review of ongoing projects in the zone.
