BRS leaders in Hyderabad are unhappy with the Congress government for not following protocol. They claim that Congress leaders in constituencies are taking over official events where Ministers should be present. The BRS leaders have warned officials of consequences once their party comes into power.
BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy from Huzurabad spoke out about the protocol issue. He argued that MLAs should have the authority to distribute cheques in constituencies where the BRS has won. He mentioned that Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stopped officials from distributing 381 cheques in Huzurabad. Kaushik Reddy vowed to stand up for the people of Huzurabad and take action if beneficiaries face any problems.
Kaushik Reddy warned officials that they will face difficulties if they do not follow the rules. The BRS has compiled a list of officials who have violated protocols, and they will face consequences once the BRS comes into power. Party leaders emphasized that similar issues have been reported in other constituencies as well.
During a ‘Badi Bata’ program in Kolcharam, there was chaos over protocol not being followed. Arguments broke out between BRS and Congress supporters when people without proper protocol were seated on the dais. Minister Konda Surekha and MLA Sunita Reddy quickly distributed cheques to beneficiaries and left the venue. The BRS leaders are threatening to take legal action against officials who violate protocol, and they have presented audio evidence of a minister threatening officials regarding cheque distribution.
