    A group of organizations including the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Hetero Group, and others organized a walkathon called ‘Pharma Strides Walkathon’ at Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy campus in Hyderabad. This event took place on June 22 at 6:30 am as a lead-up to the 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC).

    The 73rd IPC is scheduled to be held at Hitex, Hyderabad from July 5 to 7. This congress is the largest pharmaceutical conference in India and is held annually in different parts of the country. Dr Anupama Koneru, the principal of Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy, welcomed guests including Dr B Parthasaradhi Reddy, chairman of Hetero Group, and other distinguished individuals.

    During the event, Dr B Parthasaradhi Reddy encouraged participants to focus on their health and acquire knowledge for success. Dr TV Narayana, president of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, shared that the 73rd IPC will offer 1,000 job placements, free basic life support training, and a platform for delegates to engage with each other and expand their knowledge. The walkathon was officially started by Dr B Parthasaradhi Reddy and saw participation from over 800 staff and students from various pharmacy colleges.
