KT Rama Rao, the working president of BRS, questioned if the Chief Minister was like a “cutting master.” He raised concerns about the government’s actions, suggesting that they were reducing the number of beneficiaries for various schemes. KTR criticized the government for creating obstacles in accessing a loan waiver of Rs 2 lakh for farmers and changing the criteria for eligibility. He expressed frustration over the government’s decisions to limit benefits like the Rs 500 cylinder scheme and free power below 200 units.

KTR also accused the government of delaying the distribution of Rythu Bandhu to farmers who have already started cultivation. He noted that there was no mention of Rythu Bharosa, despite promises made during the election campaign. The BRS leader criticized the government for not delivering on their “everything for everyone” slogan and instead appearing to prioritize certain groups over others.

In a tweet, KTR highlighted the discrepancies in the government’s initial promise of a Rs 39,000 crore loan waiver, which was later reduced to Rs 31,000 crores. He vowed to resist any attempts to deny farmers the loan waiver based on technicalities like missing pass books or ration cards. KTR emphasized the importance of providing support to all farmers, regardless of their income tax status or employment in government positions.
