Peddapalli: IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu announced that the State government is committed to providing quality education to all students in government schools. He attended the Badi Bata programme at Zilla Parishad Boys High School in Manthani town along with district Collector Koya Sri Harsha and Additional Collector of Local Bodies J Aruna Sri.
Sridhar Babu emphasized the importance of education in Telangana State, from school to university level. The government has appointed women to manage public schools through Amma Adarsh School Committees. This year, 984 students have transferred from private schools to government schools in the district, where English medium education will continue and qualified teachers will be promoted.
The government has allocated Rs 30 crore for the construction of basic facilities in 478 government schools, with 99 percent of the work already completed. Plans are also underway to establish digital libraries and increase greenery on school premises. Additionally, ITIs are being modernized to offer new courses aligned with market trends.
A small IT company will soon be established in Manthani, creating job opportunities for 50 youths within a month. The government aims to fill all job vacancies and provide necessary skills for youth to secure employment in both public and private sectors. Collector Koya Sri Harsha stressed the importance of achieving high grades in exams and providing spoken English training to students.
Minister Sridhar Babu congratulated students in Peddapally District Government School who achieved perfect GPA scores in their 10th class exams. He distributed textbooks and uniforms to the students, while District Education Officer D Madhavi, Manthani Municipal Chairperson P. Rama, School Principal M Srinivas, and teachers also participated in the event.
