Former minister and Congress MLA D Sridhar Babu stated that the Congress government in Telangana will implement ideas from the people, not borrow policies from Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister. This response came after BRS leader T Harish Rao suggested that the Chief Minister should learn from N Chandrababu Naidu, who increased pensions as his first act in office. Sridhar Babu disagreed with using Chandrababu Naidu as an example.
The Minister assured that the state government will fulfill all promises made to the people. He criticized the BRS regime for ruining the financial sector and mentioned efforts to streamline and recover from the damage. Sridhar Babu also mentioned plans to release a job calendar soon, highlighting the Congress government’s recent conduct of the first Group-I exam in 12 years in the State.
Regarding a recent rape incident involving a minor girl in Peddapally, Sridhar Babu expressed sadness and confirmed that an investigation is ongoing. He emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the State, promising that those involved in the Medak communal disturbance incident will face consequences.
