Manne Krishank, a leader of the BRS party, criticized the Congress government in Hyderabad, comparing its actions to the reign of Tughlaq. He specifically targeted Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for his handling of the Som Distilleries issue, accusing him of flip-flopping on corruption allegations.
Krishank praised the cancellation of Som Distilleries’ liquor license but called for an investigation into how the permits were originally granted. He demanded that those responsible for allowing the company to operate fraudulently be identified and questioned why no legal action had been taken against the company.
The BRS leader accused the Congress government of leaking information and filing wrongful cases against those who shared it on social media. He alleged corruption in various government departments and claimed that Congress leaders were embezzling funds from the State treasury.
Krishank called for a thorough probe into these alleged scams and sought clarification on whether the cancellation of Som Distilleries’ license was temporary or permanent. He pointed out contradictions within the government, citing conflicting statements from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Jupally regarding excise revenue.
The BRS leader urged the government to provide a clear explanation on the matter and ensure transparency in its actions.
