A man from Nizamabad district died while waiting in line for ‘fish medicine’ at an event in Hyderabad. The man, identified as Rajanna, collapsed in the midst of a large crowd at the annual fish prasadam distribution organized by the Bathini Goud family at the Exhibitions Grounds in the city.
Rajanna, aged 61 and from Sirikonda in Nizamabad district, fell to the ground and despite efforts by police present to administer CPR, he could not be revived. He was taken to a nearby private hospital where he passed away during treatment. The police have arranged for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
