In Hyderabad, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy expressed frustration over the slow progress in building four super-specialty government hospitals for the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS). He told officials to speed up the construction and finish it quickly. Reddy checked on the construction of the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) and TIMS hospitals at the Secretariat, where he was unhappy with the delays.

He mentioned that there is enough funding available from banks for building construction and urged officials to work faster to complete all TIMS buildings soon. The government already obtained the necessary clearances for LB Nagar and Alwal TIMS hospitals, so officials should start work promptly and stick to the schedule, according to the minister. Reddy emphasized the importance of finishing TIMS projects quickly to relieve pressure on existing hospitals like Osmania General Hospital, Gandhi Hospital, and NIMS.

Reddy also addressed the poor road conditions across the state, instructing officials to quickly repair all damaged roads. He noted that many roads require maintenance due to neglect over the past five years. Reddy stressed the urgency of road repairs as people are having difficulty traveling. Additionally, he asked Roads and Buildings officials to create parking facilities at the Secretariat and finish constructing the new Hyderabad Collectorate Building.
