    Hyderabad: The BRS Chief, K Chandrashekar Rao, congratulated Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday for their massive victory in Andhra Pradesh. According to a statement issued by KCR after the election results were announced, the duo will form the government in the state.

    Another senior leader, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, commented on the nature of elections and politics in India. He noted that winning elections nowadays is not solely based on the track record of political parties. He mentioned that temporary benefits from perceptional and make-believe approaches during election campaigns do not erase historical records. Lakshmaiah also pointed out the contrasting successes of BJP and Congress despite their governance and promises.

    T Harish Rao, Medak MLA and former minister, acknowledged that winning and losing are part of politics. He highlighted the resilience of the BRS over its 24-year history, stating that the party has faced many challenges. Despite the Lok Sabha election results, Rao expressed confidence in working as the main opposition party for the interests of Telangana. He emphasized the importance of questioning the Congress and BJP to ensure they fulfill their election promises and moving forward with new hopes for the future.
