The Aquino Squadron won the inter-squadron drill competition and was named Champion Squadron for Spring Term 2024. The ceremony took place at Tejas Parade Ground, Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal. Squadron Cadet Captain AfridAfroz received the banner from Air Marshal S Shrinivas.
The cadets of the Champion Squadron will wear a lanyard on their left shoulder during the next semester. The cadets impressed the audience with their drill and turnout. The Commandant’s Banner for overall performance marked the end of competitions that included physical training, sports, debate, quiz, and more.
The Commandant praised the cadets for their spirit, leadership, and sportsmanship. He highlighted the importance of physical fitness and mental toughness in military life. The instructors were also commended for their role in preparing the cadets for success.
