    A nature camp was held at Forest Trek Park in Hyderabad in collaboration with Wandering Bee Holidays Organization. The camp was part of eco-tourism programs organized by the Telangana Forest Development Corporation (TGFDC) on Saturday. Twenty-six people from Hyderabad took part in the camp, which began on June 1 at 4 pm and ended on Sunday at 10 am.

    The participants gathered near Rain Tree Rachabanda in the park on Saturday at 4 pm. Eco Tourism Forest Range Officer Srinivas, Projects Manager K Suman, and Wandering Bee Ranghavendra Prasad briefed them about the activities planned for the camp. Later, they engaged in team-building activities near Marrichettu Rachabanda and set up camp at Checkdam Pond, where they learned how to pitch tents.

    During the night, everyone went trekking with lanterns and had a campfire. The next morning, a bird-watching program was organized at 5:45 am, where participants were given brochures to identify birds and binoculars to observe them. They also took part in activities like river-crossing and climbing over hills.

    At the camp, children were educated about the importance of trees, the environment, and the need to preserve them. TGFDC’s executive director (ecotourism) Ranjit Naik announced that weekly nature camps called ‘Prakriti Shibhiram’ will be conducted.     Plantation Manager Lakshma Reddy, naturalists Srikanth and Bhaskar, and adventure trainers from TGFDC staff also participated in the program.
