    Dr K Laxman announces BJP’s commitment to support movements for separate statehood aspirations

    Dr K Laxman, the BJP OBC Morcha national president and Rajya Sabha MP, criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for not giving recognition to those who fought for the separate statehood of Telangana in 1969 during the 10-year state formation celebrations.

    Dr Laxman questioned the moral integrity of Revanth Reddy and his role in the second phase of the Telangana movement. He emphasized that those who fought for the state were not seeking wealth or positions, but simply wanted acknowledgment for their struggles and sacrifices.

    While acknowledging that the dream of Telangana had been achieved, Dr Laxman pointed out that the goals of “Water, Funds, and Jobs” remained unfulfilled over the past decade. He criticized both the previous BRS government and the current Congress government for failing to address these issues, while expressing BJP’s commitment to developing a prosperous Telangana under PM Modi’s leadership.

    Machineni Kishan Rao revealed plans to develop a 100-acre Smriti Vanam under the guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy. This memorial park aims to honor the sacrifices made during the Telangana movement and inspire future generations.

    In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Telangana’s formation day, Dr Laxman raised the national flag at the state party office in the morning.
