    District Additional SP CH Rameshwar in Nagarkurnool encouraged women, young women, and girls to reach out to the police if they face any problems from hooligans or harassment. He mentioned the presence of She Teams and Anti-Women Trafficking Teams in the district working to protect women. Students were advised not to panic when mistreated and to report any incidents bravely.

    Additional SP Rameshwar emphasized the importance of coming forward with complaints and assured that strict action would be taken against the accused. School students were urged to contact the team in case of ragging or eve teasing by college students. Immediate assistance from the SHE team was promised in cases of sexual harassment against women or girls.

    Awareness programs are being conducted district-wide by the She team, especially focusing on the safe use of social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Women were advised to take necessary precautions while sharing photos and videos online to ensure personal safety.

    For those who may not be able to directly contact the police, a QR code or phone number (8712657676) can be used to provide information while maintaining confidentiality. Additional SP CH Rameshwar shared that in May, 12 complaints were received, resulting in two FIR cases, two pitti cases, and eight other cases resolved through counseling.
