    The Government of Telangana has asked for help from the Embassy of India in Washington DC and the Ministry of External and Overseas Indian Affairs in New Delhi to bring back the body of Gudla Sowmya from Florida, USA. Gudla Sowmya was studying for her Masters at Atlantic University in Florida when she died in an accident on May 26, 2024. Her family is very sad and wants her body to be brought back to India.

    To coordinate the transportation, people can contact Sri Mohan Nannap in the USA at +1 508 612 6676 or Sri Gudla Koteshwar Rao in India at 9000585138. The Embassy of India in Washington DC is working on all the necessary paperwork for bringing Gudla Sowmya’s body back to India, with support from the Ministry of External & Overseas Indian Affairs.
