Hyderabad: PCC working president T Jagga Reddy praised Nehru for his vision that developed India’s water resources. He mentioned that projects like Manjeera and Singur, built under Congress, benefit everyone who uses water from them.

Jagga Reddy highlighted Nehru’s belief in projects as the foundation of modern India. He credited Nehru for the construction of Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar dams, which helped in power production. During Congress rule, projects like SRSP, Manjeera, and Singur were completed.

Challenging Kishan Reddy, Jagga Reddy questioned the current NDA government’s achievements in project development. He also pointed out that even Vishaka steel, established under Congress, was later sold by the Modi government.
