    District Election Officer Dr. Priyanka Ala opened a distribution center at Kothagudem Sri Ramachandra Degree College for the upcoming by-election. Instructions were given to officers overseeing the distribution of polling materials and arrangements at the center.

    The Collector emphasized the importance of providing polling materials without errors and checking off the necessary items on a checklist. Polling duties were to be carried out effectively, with officials instructed to inspect vehicles transporting personnel and equipment to polling centers and ensure timely arrival.

    Precautions were ordered due to possible rain, especially for the transportation of ballot boxes. Security measures were to be tight to safeguard the ballot boxes during transit. The Collector also mentioned that a reception center would be set up after polling on the following day.

    All arrangements for Monday’s polling, scheduled from 8 am to 4 pm, have been completed. Voters were encouraged to exercise their right to vote freely. So far, 252 people have voted through postal ballots in the district, with 100% participation expected on election day.

    Various officials including Additional Collector Venugopala and Special Deputy Collector Kasiah were present at the event, along with RDOs and other members of the election team.
