    In Gadwal, the Hon’ble 1st Additional JM FC Court Judge announced the verdict today, sentencing the accused to two years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1000. The incident occurred on 18.09.2016 when Vadde Ramudu and his family were working in their field in Chippadoddi village. They confronted individuals from an adjacent farm who were removing the farm bund. A scuffle broke out, resulting in injuries to Vadde Ramudu and his family.

    Vadde Ramudu lodged a complaint with the Maldakal police on 19.09.2016, leading to the registration of a case under sections 323, 324 r/w 34 of the IPC. The police, under the supervision of District SP Mrs. Riti raj IPS, investigated the incident and filed a charge sheet against the perpetrators. During the trial, efforts were made to motivate witnesses to testify in court.

    After hearing arguments from both parties, the judge found the accused, Kummari Anjaneyulu, guilty and sentenced him to two years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1000. Assistant Public Prosecutor Bhawani and Court Constables Ram Das and Swami Raju assisted in securing the conviction. A.S.I. Keshav Rao and S.I. Naveen Singh, who were case investigation officers, were present at the court proceedings to acknowledge their efforts.

    The dedication and hard work of the investigation and legal teams involved in handling the case were recognized and appreciated by all parties involved.
