Telangana BJP vice-president NVSS Prabhakar met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi. He talked about the financial and political situation in the state, mentioning that the government led by CM A Revanth Reddy is facing financial challenges. Prabhakar highlighted that the state has already taken Rs 12,905 crore in new loans and is looking to borrow more, exceeding the FRBM limits.

He also raised concerns about the state government taking on large loans in the name of corporations. Prabhakar expressed worry about the financial burden being placed on the state due to political appointments and misuse of central funds meant for local bodies. He urged the minister to implement new RBI guidelines to ensure financial discipline.
