Senior BJP leader Konda Vishweshwar Reddy criticized the Congress for making unrealistic promises without considering the financial situation of the State and country. He pointed out that the government would be left with very little money to run essential services if it fulfills all the promises made by the Congress.

Reddy highlighted that even senior leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge are making impractical promises, such as providing 10 kg of free rice per person if Congress comes to power. He questioned whether the Congress has done any research on the actual needs of the people before making such promises.

In contrast, Reddy mentioned that the focus of PM Narendra Modi and the Centre in the upcoming elections is on long-term development goals for the country, rather than short-term promises for political gains. He criticized vote bank politics, which he believes is harmful to both the country and the poor.

Former Ranga Reddy Zilla Parishad chairman K S Ratnam also criticized the State government for failing to fulfill its promises made during the Assembly elections. He questioned how the government plans to repay debts and fund its new promises, such as farm loan waivers and bonus on MSP. Ratnam called for transparency from the government on how it plans to deliver on its commitments.
