    The Rouse Avenue Court in Hyderabad extended the judicial custody of BRS MLC K Kavitha until May 20. Kavitha, who was produced before the court virtually from Tihar Jail, had her judicial custody ending on Tuesday. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) submitted a chargesheet with over 8,000 pages for the court’s consideration, and requested an extension of Kavitha’s remand for another 14 days.

    The court has scheduled the consideration of the chargesheet against BRS leader Kavitha for May 20. The main chargesheet consists of 224 pages and includes names like Chanpreet Singh, Damodar Sharma, Prince Kumar, and Arvind Singh. K Kavitha was arrested by the ED on March 15 and appeared in court on March 16 in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy money laundering case.

    The ED filed a supplementary prosecution complaint against Kavitha and others, marking the sixth supplementary chargesheet in the excise policy case under investigation by the Directorate of Enforcement.
