    The Election Commission in Ranga Reddy has set up arrangements for senior citizens and disabled people to vote through postal ballots from May 4 to May 6. The Collector and District Election Officer K Shashanka inspected the facility at the office of the Zonal Commissioner GHMC Serilingampally and urged officials to be cautious and follow EC rules.

    Officials were instructed to carefully check voter list details, consult higher authorities for any doubts, and avoid mistakes during registration. Micro-observers were also asked to monitor the process closely. Zonal Commissioner GHMC Serilingampally Sneha and other officials were present during the inspection.

    Returning Officer for Chevella LS constituency Shashanka mentioned that necessary steps have been taken to ensure voters can exercise their right to vote in the constituency. The process of ‘vote from home’ will run from May 4 to May 6 in the LS segment, with 54 teams formed to collect postal ballot votes from senior citizens and disabled electors.
