The Telangana State Haj Committee held a meeting at the Haj House in Nampally to discuss issues related to the upcoming Haj-2024 camp. Officials from various organizations such as Saudi Airlines, Customs, GMR, BCAS, and immigration were present to address concerns regarding airport check-in procedures, safety measures, prayer areas, seating arrangements, and other facilities for pilgrims.
Shaikh Liyakat Hussain, Executive Officer of the State Haj Committee, led the meeting along with other committee members and officials from GMR and Saudi Airlines. They inspected the area for luggage screening and directed airport officials to ensure the best arrangements for pilgrims. The airport authorities promised to make necessary arrangements at GMR Airport in Shamshabad.
Several officials from different organizations, including BCAS, GMR, Saudi Airlines, and Air India, were also present at the meeting. Liyakat Hussain announced that vaccination for pilgrims in the twin cities would be available at various government hospitals. The vaccination process will be carried out in phases to manage the number of people visiting hospitals.
Pilgrims are advised to maintain discipline and cooperate with hospital staff during the vaccination process. Detailed information about the vaccination schedule will be shared through a Telegram Channel. It is essential for pilgrims to follow instructions to ensure a smooth vaccination process.
