PCC working president T Jagga Reddy believes that Delhi police’s notice to Telangana Congress is just a distraction tactic by the BJP. He thinks the BJP is worried about Congress’s successful campaign and is trying to divert attention. Reddy feels this is part of a plan by the Home Minister to distract from Rahul Gandhi’s criticisms of the BJP.

Reddy also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for targeting a specific community during his election campaign. He questioned why the Election Commission did not take action against Modi for violating the Model Code of Conduct. G Niranjan, chairman of the Election Commission Coordination Committee, accused Modi of spreading hatred and creating divisions among people in Medak.
