A one-day training program was held on Sunday at PSR Garden near Pothireddypally Chowrastha for Nodal Officers, Sectoral Officers, and Master Trainers of Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) in Sangareddy and Kamareddy districts under Zaheerabad Parliamentary Constituency. The District Election Officer/Collector emphasized the importance of officials having knowledge of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
Experts conducted the program on addressing common issues related to EVMs and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT). The knowledge gained will be shared with election staff by the master trainers. Training programs will be conducted at the assembly constituency level on May 1st, 2nd, 7th, and 8th.
Ten AROs, 205 sectoral officers, and 55 master trainers and ALMTs from Sangareddy and Kamareddy districts attended the program. Additional officials and election staff were also present. The training aimed to equip officials with skills to troubleshoot any issues related to EVMs.
The goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient electoral process.
