Hyderabad: AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi criticized the Prime Minister for making negative remarks about Muslims in India during a public meeting. He pointed out the large number of siblings that BJP and RSS leaders have, despite accusing Muslims of having many children. Akbar emphasized that Muslims are an integral part of the nation and have contributed significantly to its culture and heritage.

During his speech, Akbar questioned whether it was appropriate for the country’s Prime Minister to use derogatory language towards Muslims. He highlighted the hypocrisy of those who used to criticize him and his brother as now supporting the Prime Minister’s divisive rhetoric. Akbar also compared the family sizes of prominent leaders to demonstrate the unfairness of labeling Muslims as infiltrators and people with many children.

Akbar further emphasized the positive contributions of Muslims to India, including historical landmarks like the Taj Mahal and Qutub Minar. He rejected the idea that Muslims are outsiders and reaffirmed their rightful place in the country. Akbar also criticized India’s failure to capitalize on its demographic dividend and empower its youth for economic growth.

In addition, Akbar stressed that his party, AIMIM, does not promote hatred or communalism. He welcomed people of all faiths and beliefs to their headquarters, Darussalam. Akbar also emphasized the importance of voting and urged people to choose the best candidate during the upcoming elections. He reminded the audience of the impact a single vote can have on government formation.

Akbar raised questions about the Prime Minister’s divisive language towards Muslims, citing examples of prominent Muslim leaders who have served in Parliament. He accused the Prime Minister of trying to divide the country and incite violence against Muslims through policies like love jihad and hijab bans. Akbar’s comments came in response to PM Modi’s recent controversial remarks about Muslims during a campaign rally in Rajasthan.
