In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana, the BJP and Congress are competing to win multiple seats. Both parties are actively campaigning and criticizing each other.
The President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, A Revanth Reddy, is conducting a fast-paced tour of different Lok Sabha segments. He is attending rallies and meetings to gauge public opinion and make decisions to improve the party’s chances of winning in competitive Parliamentary constituencies. The Congress high command is also providing guidance on campaign issues through party consultant Sunil Kanugolu.
The Congress party has given tickets to candidates like Ranjit Reddy, Sunitha Mahender Reddy, D Nagender, and K Kavya, who have switched parties. Despite this, the party is confident in winning these seats and has appointed senior leaders to oversee potential challenges. Their goal is to secure 12 seats.
Meanwhile, the BJP has dispatched teams from various states to connect with voters and highlight PM Modi’s accomplishments. The party aims to win 6 to 8 seats but has set a target of double-digit victories. They have organized public events featuring PM Modi and Amit Shah.
The BJP is concerned about the Hyderabad Parliament seat due to a lack of coordination between the candidate and booth level workers. State leaders believe that intervention from the party high command is necessary for a strong showing in this seat against AIMIM leader Assaduddin Owaisi.
