    In Greater Hyderabad, the District Election authorities are working to increase voter turnout. They are partnering with Residents Welfare Associations and voluntary organizations to raise awareness about the importance of voting.

    The focus is on educating voters about their vote preference, right to vote, voter ID, cVIGIL app, voter helpline, checking their vote status, and taking a voter pledge. Hyderabad District Election Officer Ronald Ross emphasized the need for every voter to participate in the democratic process by casting their vote on polling day.

    Efforts are being made to inform residents in colonies about voting procedures and encourage them to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming Parliamentary elections on May 13. Election officers and RWA representatives are assisting voters in locating their names on the voter list and guiding them to their assigned polling booths.

    RWAs are utilizing first-time voters as volunteers to spread awareness among residents. They are also helping voters check their details in the voter list and informing them about polling booth locations. Voters without voter slips can contact Booth Level Officers for assistance.

    Special provisions are being made for elderly individuals above 85 years and PWD voters to vote from home by applying under Form-12D before April 23. DEO Ronald Rose has instructed election officers to create innovative videos for social media to raise awareness among voters. Complaints of election code violations can be reported through the cVIGIL mobile app with audio, video, or photo evidence.
