The Indian Red Cross Society in Nagarkurnool organized ambulatory medical services for the elderly in Palem Primary Health Center and Lingasanipalli village. The event was supported by the district department.
During the program, the Red Cross District Secretary, Ramesh Reddy, mentioned that a medical camp was set up for the elderly in Lingasani Palli village. A total of 54 individuals aged 60 and above received medical services, including tests for diabetes and high blood pressure.
The Youth Red Cross District Convenor, Kumar, educated the elderly villagers about medications for hypertension and diabetes, as well as multivitamins, calcium tonics, eye drops, and general health precautions to take. The camp was attended by medical staff, Asha workers, village elders, and other volunteers.
