ABVP activists protested at Commerce College in Kacheguda, Hyderabad on Friday. They demanded the college to close during the summer vacation. The protesters claimed that the college was still conducting classes even though the State government had declared summer vacation for junior colleges until May 31.

A confrontation occurred between the student activists and the college management when the former entered the college premises. The protesters accused the management of organizing classes for intermediate students without proper authorization. After the protest, the college was eventually closed by the management.
