    Former Task Force Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) P Radhakishan Rao, along with Inspector Gattumallu and SI Mallikarjun, are facing charges of extortion and kidnapping. They are accused of pressuring the chairman and directors of Kria Health Care to exchange shares and ownership.

    Venumadhav Chennupati, the chairman of Kria Health Care, filed a complaint with the police after Radhakishan Rao was arrested in a phone-tapping case. A case has been registered against them under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. Radhakishan is allegedly involved in taking over Kria Healthcare Pvt Ltd valued at Rs 100 crore from its founder.

    The complainant has requested a thorough investigation into the matter, including the involvement of Radhakishan, Chandrasekhar Vege, and other individuals. The dispute involves the distribution of shares among the company’s shareholders and directors.

    Radhakishan Rao’s remand has been extended until April 12 by a Nampally court in connection with the phone-tapping case. He has complained about restrictions in jail and is being questioned about illegal surveillance activities during the previous government.

    The case first came to light when DSP Praneeth Rao was arrested for allegedly tapping phones of opposition parties. Radhakishan Rao’s involvement in the illegal surveillance has caused a political uproar.
