The Congress party’s decision to give the Warangal Lok Sabha ticket to Kadiyam Kavya, daughter of MLA Kadiyam Srihari, has created controversy. Many leaders in the constituency feel that this move was a mistake, as there were loyal party members waiting for their chance to grow politically. Despite being out of power for ten years, these members remained loyal to the party even during tough times.

Some leaders are questioning why the party chose a newcomer like Kavya, especially when the party had been successful in recent Assembly elections. There were several loyal Congress members who were hoping to receive the ticket instead. The BRS party, on the other hand, has seen some of its main leaders defect to either Congress or BJP. Even Kavya, who initially wanted to run with BRS, switched to Congress. Former MLA Aroori Ramesh also chose to run with BJP instead of BRS.

Top BRS leaders are upset with Kadiyam Srihari for leaving the party after enjoying various positions within it. They feel that the BRS had supported him throughout his political career, only for him to abandon the party in the end. BRS leaders are determined to defeat Kavya in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Congress candidate is facing opposition not only from within her own party but also from BRS leaders.

Meanwhile, MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga, who supports BJP, has urged his followers not to support Kavya under any circumstances. This situation has created a challenging environment for Kavya as she prepares to run for the Lok Sabha seat in Warangal.
