    A group of BRS leaders and MLAs are expected to join the Congress at a large public meeting in Tukkuguda, Greater Hyderabad. The meeting is planned for Saturday evening and arrangements have been made for ten lakh people to attend.

    Sources say that BRS MLAs from Greater Hyderabad, Karimangar, Khammam, and North Telangana districts will join the Congress in the presence of AICC Chief Mallikarjuna Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. The party is working to mobilize a large crowd for its first public meeting before the Lok Sabha elections.

    TPCC President A Revnath Reddy has had discussions with BRS MLAs to invite them to join the Congress during the election campaign. Speculations suggest that prominent BRS leaders like Prakash Goud and G Kalamakar may also join the party at the event.

    Congress State Incharge Deep Das Munshi expressed confidence that the alliance against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule would prevail in the General Elections. Rahul Gandhi is expected to release the party manifesto at the public meeting.

    State IT and Industry Minister D Sridhar Babu shared that the public meeting will take place on a 70-acre plot of land. Special arrangements are being made for the expected ten lakh attendees, with leaders working to bring people from every Assembly segment in the State to the event.
