    Man Attacked with Knife for Plucking Mango Leaves Without Permission

    A man was seriously injured after a farm owner attacked him for cutting mango leaves without permission in Krishna district.

    The Inspector General of Indo Tibetan Border Police and local police Superintendent Riti Raj emphasized the need for central and local forces to work together in order to ensure a peaceful election process. They stressed the importance of allowing people to vote without facing any undue pressure.

    A coordination meeting between local and central forces was held at the district Superintendent of Police office to discuss precautions that should be taken to prevent any untoward incidents during the elections and to ensure that the elections are conducted peacefully.

    Both police officers will oversee procedures in problematic villages within the district. They also reviewed measures to control the flow of cash and liquor at border check posts, as well as ongoing parades of central forces, vehicle inspections, and provision of necessary facilities for central forces arriving in the district.

    Participants at the meeting included the district Additional SP K Guna Sekhar, ITBP commandant SP Joshi, Deputy commandant BS Reddy, DSP Satya Narayana, Armed forces DSP Narendra Rao, and Assistant Commandant Vinod Kumar.
