Hyderabad: Minister D Sridhar Babu, who is also the chairman of Congress party’s National Manifesto Committee for IT and Industries, promised to address the issues faced by private junior and degree colleges. He assured that he will discuss these problems with the manifesto committee and work towards finding solutions from the government’s end.
During a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, representatives of TPJMA and TPDMA, led by Gauri Satish, the State President of Telangana Private Junior Colleges Association (TPJMA), met with Sridhar Babu. TPCC Intellectuals Forum Chairman Shyam Mohan, former MLC Kamalakar, State Library Association Chairman Riaz, Professor Janaiah, and others were also present to discuss the challenges faced by junior colleges in Telangana.
Following the meeting, Gauri Satish, Vishnuvardhan Reddy (general secretary of TPJMA), and Balakrishna Reddy (State president of TPDMA) highlighted their issues to Minister Sridhar Babu and requested prompt resolution.
Sridhar Babu emphasized that the education sector has been overlooked for nearly a decade without any evaluation. He mentioned that the current Congress government is committed to thorough examination of all problems in order to provide effective governance.
