Congress in Hyderabad stated that it will not give in to pressure from BRS leaders, including KTR, who threatened to sue party leaders over a ‘phone-tapping’ issue. A complaint was filed at the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate against the previous government and its leaders by K K Mahender Reddy, a Congress candidate from Sircilla in the Assembly polls.

Reddy challenged KTR to send legal notices during a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan. He criticized KTR’s threat to sue Congress leaders, including Minister Konda Surekha, for allegedly defaming him in a phone-tapping case. Reddy accused the previous BRS government of committing a serious offense and criticized KCR’s family for undermining democracy and human rights while in power.
