The BRS is facing a crisis as senior leader K Keshava Rao is planning to leave the party. Keshava Rao informed party chief K Chandrashekar Rao about his decision during a meeting at the farmhouse.

During the meeting, KCR expressed his disappointment with KK’s comments against the party to the media. KCR urged KK to reconsider his decision to leave the party, reminding him of the support the party had provided to his family over the years.

Following the meeting, KK returned to his residence in Banjara Hills without speaking to the waiting media. Speculations arose about KK and his daughter Gadwal Vijayalakshmi joining the Congress after meeting with State in-charge and government adviser Vem Narender Reddy.

KK had made comments against the party line, suggesting possible corruption involving KCR’s family in the government. He also criticized the party’s leadership and decision-making process, hinting at a lack of recognition for other leaders within the party.

He clarified that he had no intention of changing parties and expressed confidence in the BRS leadership. Meanwhile, Hyderabad Mayor Vijayalakshmi is expected to join the Congress on March 30.
