    Holi celebrations in Telangana were marred by tragic accidents as many people lost their lives while bathing in rivers, canals, and ponds. A total of 14 people died and one person went missing, including two children. In one incident, four young men drowned in a river near Tatipalli in Kumrambhim Asifabad district. The victims were identified as Panasa Kamalakar, Uppala Santhosh, Elmule Praveen, and Alam Sai. Another student from Mancherial drowned while bathing with friends, and a teenager from Jaijawan Nagar drowned in Bhimsari mandal.

    In Maheshwaram Mandal of Rangareddy District, two men named Sangam Jagan and Kommu Surender lost their lives after falling into a pond following Holi celebrations. In Narayanapet district, three children were injured when a water tank collapsed while they were playing Holi. Tragically, one of the children, named Lakshmi Pranita, passed away at the hospital. Another youth drowned in a farm well in Vanaparthi district after playing Holi.

    In Mahabubabad, a fourth standard student named Rithvik Reddy drowned in a pond, while an auto driver named Mokalla Rambabu lost his life after falling into MorreduVagu. Additionally, two individuals named Takkella Kedareshwar and Amtham Krantiku Mar died and one person went missing after an incident in the Palivelpula Essarissi Canal under KU Police Station in Hanumakonda.
